Margaret Doctor Profile

Dr. Margaret Apostol

MD, Board Certified in Family Medicine

“I believe healing happens when we treat the whole person—not just isolated symptoms.”

— Dr. Margaret Apostol

Dr. Margaret Apostol is a board-certified family physician with a deep-rooted passion for health, prevention, and personalized medicine. Her journey into medicine began with an undergraduate degree in Nutrition Sciences, where she entered college with the belief that medicine and health were inseparable. While medical school and residency provided a strong foundation in conventional care, she soon realized that modern medicine often focuses more on disease management than true health optimization and prevention. This realization shaped her desire to expand beyond traditional models of care.

For the past seven years, Dr. Apostol has practiced integrative and functional medicine, combining the best of conventional medicine with a root-cause, systems-based approach to healing. She is passionate about identifying and addressing the underlying drivers of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. By using a broader toolbox that includes nutrition, lifestyle medicine, advanced testing, and targeted therapies, she helps patients achieve sustainable health and vitality. Dr. Apostol finds deep fulfillment in filling the gaps where conventional medicine falls short, empowering her patients to take control of their health and thrive.

board-certified family nurse practitioner

“The art of medicine needed restoring.”

— Tabatha Durand, CNP, CEN, TCRN

Tabatha Durand is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Noticing that depersonalized protocols increasingly drove healthcare, Tabatha recognized that the “art of medicine” needed restoring. Until then, she determined to continue her education (perpetually) to protect her clients from competing interests.

Tabatha graduated summa cum laude with her master’s in nursing. After an internship with Apostol IFM, she was eager to return to offer root cause care. A firm believer in the human spirit and a witness to the negative impacts of sick-care, Tabatha continues to advocate for her client’s best interests hoping that each life change elevates humanity.
